Social Network Analysis Of Micro-blog Opinion Leader In Public Emergencies

Micro-blog plays a very important role in terms of public opinion in Chinese social life. In Public emergencies, "opinion leaders" of micro-blog is the community core members, public opinion center field, but also is the key to public emergencies in micro-blog information diffusion node.Their presence has to maintain strength,disseminate important information and to guide online public opinion.Based on a Public emergencies of the 2014 Shanghai stampede,through available research literature,concept refining method,and by means of event analysis,this thesis constructs a set of index system to identify opinion leaders from many micro-blog users.Via social network analysis software, the thesis also draw the matrix,community diagram to show the interaction between the micro-blog opinion activists and use density, distance, centrality, structural holes to find out the real opinion leaders,and through a network field observation and content analysis, it further investigates the micro-blog opinion leaders’ communication features in Public emergencies. According to these features, the author puts forward some strategies on making use of micro-blog opinion leaders from incentives, cooperation and communication mechanisms, and provides government with decision-making reference in dealing with micro-blog public emergencies.
