With the rapid development of embedded technology, features of householdelectronic appliances are becoming more and more complex. The electrical controlsystem (ECS) is the core module of the household appliances, deciding its normaloperation. The ECS is divided into two parts of the hardware and software. Thehardware includes the Micro Control Unit (MCU) and other electronic components,and the software is the program running at MCU. In the development of ECS of thesmall and medium-sized appliances, because of the relatively simple functions andhigher software code repetition rate, the software development work is oftenundertaken by an engineer. During the software development process, engineers oftendo their work individually in their own computers, without the help of a collaborativedevelopment platform to define the specification of the software developmentexplicitly and to manage development results completely. At the same time, there isalso a lot of duplication of effort and less efficient.This thesis is based on the Development Platform of Electronic control system ofdishwasher (EDP), which is a cooperation project between the washing division ofMidea Group and the school of software of Sun Yat-sen University. This thesisproposes a technology solution for software development of EDP based on softwareconfiguration management and collaborative management, and discusses about thedesign and implementation of EDP using software engineering and object-orientedanalysis and design methods. Through the two aspects of software configurationmanagement and collaborative development, EDP helps the engineers to manage thedevelopment process and result of electronic control software. It improves efficiency of development.In the part of requirements analysis and system overall design, the developmentprocess of electronic control system of dishwasher was clarified through on-siteinspection; a technology solution for software development of EDP was proposedafter studying domestic and foreign software development process of electricalcontrol system and software configuration management. And ultimately determine touse the J2EE as the basic technology to develop the system of EDP.In the part of system design and implementation, design and implement modulesof project management, software configuration, schedule management and contactmanagement based on the system overall design. The module of project managementincludes project introduction, hardware design, software development and test.Now the initial design and implementation achieve the desired objectives, theEDP system is operating well.
