Research And Practice Of Software Configuration Management Policy Based On B/S Development System

The article aims at problems in software development process of But'one corporation. It brings forward the configuration management system by experiment and choose project to use it. During the research, first I have learned advanced theoretics of configuration management of our country and overseas. Then I do experiments by using configuration management tool, define implementary policy and choose appropriate project to apply.I summarize in detail of safe management and ClearCase access control based on familiar with the tools. Concerning the especial settings about the access control, I have given a detail description which can help the beginners. I creat project vob environment and define correlative criterion. Design and implement change and defect tracking flow in ClearQuest tool. I am responsibility for the baseline realease and audit .I have given some advices about the problems with my practice. In addition, I have extended the function about the tools in order to improve the efficiency.At end, the article forecasts the configuration management technology and foreground. Giving a conclusion about the task and making a value analysis, and also make suggestions about the corporation's configuration management improvement.
