When school constantly facing the development of the information technology,digital and intelligent. The campus internal management, Faculty and student’s lots ofinformation and daily consumption of related places what need to be reprogrammedand a new way of information management. From the beginning of the last century,the school continued application of various campus card including non-encrypted IDcard to the logic encryption card, to the campus smart card, the card develop to thedirection of multi-application, high security and rapid response. Campus smart cardcombined with a variety of applications of the school such as authentication, minorconsumer purchases, educational administration, through the campus networkinformation management system is connected with the school, faculty and students’personal information can be queried at any time, the application of the campus smartcard will bring the faculty and students’ lives great convenience to simplify workprocesses, and improve the efficiency of the work of various departments of theschool.With the smart card technology developments, on the basis of previous studies,according to the school information management and student demand, In this paper,with the design of the campus smart card operating system, I have done the followingwork:(1)Design and implement a smart card operating system’s file system and thesecurity module, according to the design principles of the file system, design andimplementation of the data structure for different file types, using a different filesecurity mechanisms to ensure the reliability of the file read and write process andsecurity, optimize the data storage means to shorten the card response time; smart cardsecurity system, joined the DES encryption and decryption, authentication andinternal and external authentication methods to prevent information being stolen in the card communication process and copy utilization.(2)Design campus smart card key management system, the types of keycardsincludes Master Card, SAM card for Master Card, campus smart card for master cardand certification card, key management system key use the secure messaging way toensure the security of data communications and the key.(3)There are three aspects of the design and implementationof smart card test,functionality, security, response speed test, and test results are analyzed, show that thedesign of the campus smart card operating system has the characteristics ofmulti-application, high security and fast response and Sun Yat-sen University campussmart card system has been successfully applied.
