The3D laser scanning technology is a new technology developed in recent years,through the method of high speed laser measurement,3D information acquisition, largeobjects quickly, accurately, and provides a new technical means for the scientific andaccurate modeling of data. China is a country rich in mineral resources, and the annualoccurrence of mine brought great loss of life and property to the country and the people,especially due to the excavation caused landslides in all coal mines accounted for alarge proportion of. The application of3D laser scanning technology in mining area ofthe mine landslide data acquisition and modeling, to increase people’s understanding ofthe landslide, timely grasp the landslide trend, will bring practical significance andgreat value of production.In this paper, the three-dimensional laser scanning technology, used in a miningarea of Xinjiang, the construction of data collection to the end of the initial model, andput forward a set of practical, detailed operational procedures, mainly embodied in thefollowing points:(1) Described in detail the working principle and classification of3D laserscanning, combined with a large number of experiments illustrates the point cloud datadenoising, filtering, compression, mosaic, scanning error sources. In order to improvethe data quality, analysis of each process in operation, and the eventual establishmentof a realistic data model.(2) The key technology for data acquisition, data processing, data modeling the3D laser scanning, and puts forward some matters needing attention of some, andcombined with the splicing target and coordinate system combination, improves thedata connection accuracy.(3) Combining with Xinjiang Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture to vomit,township Columbus scanning thermal metallogenic belt project, from the beginning ofthe modeling of the data collection to the end, put forward a complete set of operationalprocedures, provides reference for further research in this field. (4) Establishing digital elevation model of the area and the main landslide area,the entire mining area landform and each landslide body now in front of people, tofacilitate analysis of the trend of the landslide, play the role of prevention.
