About80percent of electricity come from thermal energy,while for the thermal power plant, the key economic indicators of the cost of electricity is the amount of coal storage.The main principle of traditional statistics of coal has three steps,first of all,let the stacked coal shaping by the Bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer which is used as a Stacker coal carrier,and the figure is always to be regular shape such as trapezoidal or rectangular.Next,Measure as an artificial way using tape.Finally,the result of its volume multiplied by the density is the weight.The method exists some weakness such as Low efficiency,inaccuracy,wasting manpower and physical resources.Therefore, this paper presents a new inventory measurement thinking,The advantages of the statistics system is legerity,functional and applies to any coal pile shape above all.In this paper,I studied on several aspects as obtaining three-dimensional data field,measuring and controlling equipment,volume smoothing and so on.Firstly,coal pile surface data accumulated on thermal power plant is a group of varying curved surface data. Line distance and angle information of the measured target point on coal pile surface can be get by scanning with laser scanner.And then do a series of geometric transformation to get a sectional two-dimensional coordinate data.And determine real-time location information of the scanner by displacement sensors, angle sensors,that is each section two-dimensional data corresponding to the third coordinate data.Finally,will coordinates be effective matched can build three-dimensional data field.Secondly, the laser scanner is a highprecision optical sensor.In the coal yard there are adverse factors,such as quarry, dust, sun and high temperature, electromagnetic interference and moisture condensation and so on,so that it may affect the stability of the measurement accuracy of their work.Therefore, it is necessary to design automatic temperature control system for laser scanner to provide a suitable working temperature environment.And use an dustproof and obturate devices to protect the scanner to avoid dust dirty lens.Thirdly,design about the laser scanner hardware control module and encoder hardware control module. Encoder control panel capture the encoder pulse data and judge whether pulse value come up to threshold set in the system to determine the location of the laser scanner.And it send serial commands to trigger the laser scanner to obtain a cross-section information acquisition control panel.Then,Get a sectional two-dimensional coordinate data after a space and the geometric transformation.And then Integrate third coordinate data and two-dimensional coordinate data at the same time through a specific combination of analytical method. And store data through a specific file format,that get discrete three-dimensional coordinate data about the whole yard.In addition, to the large number of discrete three-dimensional coordinate data accessed,use accurate numerical integration algorithm to do slice of volume calculations.And minimize errors and improve the measurement accuracy by the method of error analysis.Finally,calculate the coal storage volume of the coal field by multipling the three-dimensional data volume and density.From the point of view of industrial applications,using the volume measurement system designed in this paper can largely improve stock ground volume measurement efficiency and measurement accuracy and reduce costs of the manual measurement. The measurement and analysis system proposed has practical and forward-looking and some practical value.
