Single-mode fiber-optical confocal scanning laser microscopy is a new scanning microscopic imaging system that is based on the modern fiber optics technology and electronics technology. Duing to applying point source and point detector, the system can removes the out-of-fqcus light that makes the image become blur. Therefore, it achieves excellent resolution in axial direction, and can achieve 3-D imaging of microorganism. It has a bright future in the applied domains of medical, biology, physical structure, and microelectronics.In this paper, the imaging theories of the single-mode fiber-optical confocal scanning laser microscopy and the causes of affecting the fiber-optical coupling efficiency in the optical system are analyzed systemically based on lots of testing and examinations. According to the analyses and testing, the electronic system, which provides the functions of scanning driving, data acquisition and image processing, are designed and introduced in details. |
