| Android digital television set-top box is the set-top box equipped with Androidoperating system. With the openness and terminal independence of the Androidoperating system, the set-top box is no longer confined to a mere signal conversion,but tends to be more intelligent and network-oriented.The Android set-top box designed by this project adopts Hisilicon’shigh-definition digital TV set-top box solutions based on Hi3716C platform and isequipped with Android2.2operating system. In this paper, after in-depth study of theHi3716C chip and its hardware and software systems, we designed the set-top boxapplications layer software, including the user interface, TV program search andelectronic program guide (EPG) and so on.In this paper, the main interface for user interaction is called “six door” interface,the interface is written in Java language, and flexibly adopts Android user interfacedevelopment components, such as Gallery, listview, according to the requirements ofthe Android interface development. The user interface mainly provides interface foreach basic function.This article studies the digital TV set-top boxes multiplexing and demultiplexing,and introduces the structure of the TS stream and PSI/SI standards of DVB system indetail, then achieves the digital program search and electronic program guide withAndroid JNI technology. This article mainly finishes the manual, automatic andfull-band search of the digital program search, which can also display search resultswith the data transfer of C program and Java layer. The electronic program guide isdivided into data reception, data parsing and storage and UI interface, this paper givesa detailed design of each module and ultimately realizes the the EPG informationanalysis and display functions.At present, the fundamental software of the set-top box can run normally onhardware platform of Hi3716C. According to the test result, this set-top box hasachieved the expected function and performance. |
