In today’s society, with the advancement of technology, media are alsoundergoing a huge transformation, from newspapers, radio, television, theInternet, until the phone. However, With the extensive application of digitaltechnology and rapid development of network communication,Between theoriginal path clear one of several media have been quietly rising to a newconvergence,That is "media convergence".Media convergence has become a new development trend of journalismand communication industry,it’s media practice guide sports media graduallyembarked on the road of media convergence,the Media Convergence of sportsmedia become the new trend of sports news dissemination.Before the OlympicGames,the sports media in the country are mostly alone, just relying on theirown strength to develop,similar media or different media lack of cooperationand communication.reports of the Olympic Games makes various media fullyaware of the importance of resource sharing, the rapid transmission of thenetwork platform and the necessity of joint media interaction,making them formthe concept of media convergence in determining the development planning,institutional mechanisms, and personnel training.The Gsports omnimediareports of the London2012Olympic Games is a successful attempt of mediaconvergence.The Gsports is the operators of Sports Industry, the provider of sportsprograms and sports content, is the most dynamic sports media group,relyingon the media resource advantages and influence in the country ofSMG,Effectively integrating sports media resources belong SMG.The Gsportsput media branding as a core to create three major broadcast platform withradio, television and network and put Sports media content production,advertising management, copyright management, event broadcast production,own Race resources and operation, sports agency and the brand authorizedoperation as complete industrial chain to purposes cross-media, cross-regionaloperation.In this article, I used scientific the research methods of literature data,content analysis, case studies, field survey, expert interviews,and used thetheoretical knowledge of communication studies, journalism and relateddisciplines to sort out the concept, type theory, case of sports media mediaconvergence.Firstly,I presented the theoretical support of sports media mediaconvergence.secondly,I specifically analysis the characteristics of Gsportsmedia platform,.The third,I describe the ransformation of the Gsports mediareports,and analyze the successes and lessons in the process of the Gsportsomnimedia reports to let other sports media learn.Finally,I looked forward tothe future trend media convergence.
