Teenage pregnancy and abortion has been regarded as one of the social problems in Thailand,teenage pregnancy is not simple abortion.The consequences of teenage fertility is the increase of single-mom and girl’s life will have a huge impact.Teenage fertility is not conducive to physical, mental health and sexually transmitted disease prevention,fetal mortality will be higher.Teenage pregnancy will lead to a range of other social problems.In particular, abortion has a great harm, physical and mental health of girls.The psychological burden of abortions, even if the surgery went well,after life will leave a shadow.With the increasing global social problems in recent years, premarital sexual experience an upward trend.Teenage pregnancies and abortions become the world’s human attention and research focus.Based on the constraints of traditional sexual morality.Most people in Thailand have a negative attitude toward premarital sex,but in real life, the premarital sex abound.Different societies have different collective cultural rules still acceptable relationship and the type of restriction.Teenage pregnancies and abortion is no one wants to see, but since it happened,should be from the point of departure of caring,think of ways how to guide, help and save rather than blindly from the moral condemnation.Not just be simply dismissed or neglect.Teenage pregnancy and abortion cannot be fully borne by their own youth,interested parties also need to review the management of absence or other factors are involved.This serious social problems related to social stability and national development.In order to understand the current situation of Thai society of teenage pregnancies and abortion attitudes and in favor of the solution, study the attitude of teenage pregnancy and abortion in Thailand. According to sociological theory, take the quantitative research methods, and the use of the literature method teenage pregnancy and abortion status, adolescent sexuality influencing factors, abortion policy law; In2012,489objects from Bangkok and Chaingmai in Thailand, including teachers, guardians, officials, youth and other five categories has been investigated to analyze the attitudes and characteristics of teenage pregnancy and abortion. The survey found that the world existing abortion permitting laws with international regulations:conditional rules (Periodic Model) and gestational age rules (Periodic Model), as well as religious and moral reference countries, family, society, culture, schools and national sex education and other factors has relations to adolescent sexuality, pregnancy and abortion. The survey found that all the five categories of objects do not agree on teenage pregnancy and abortion; most of them have a same level of understanding on the protection of pregnant girls and abortion knowledge; age and occupation have a direct impact on the attitude of the subject of the investigation, different ages and career will have different answers to the attitude and answers. Buddhist beliefs and social ethics of abortion behavior and attitudes have a greater impact.In conclusion, Thai society remained unacceptable attitude of teenage pregnancies and abortion. But also by the attitude and behavior of the Thai society there is a conflict, there are still many intermediate attitude in the survey, with the development of society, the trend is likely to turn into accepted teenage pregnancy and abortion, but also requires the society and researchers continue to focus and study.
