This paper uses qualitative research methods, and comprehensively applies various theories, such as social work theories, sociology theories and psychology theory, in order to preliminarily approach the subject of abortion among secondary school students and the social work solution to this problem. It comprehensively, intuitively and systematically presents the causes of secondary school students’ abortion, meanwhile, the harmful physical and mental consequences to those students resulted from abortion.And based on this, confronting the problem of abortion among secondary school students, this paper for the first time, attempts to advance different and targeted social work measures to it, pointing at different subjects.The full paper is divided into five parts.The introduction defines some important concepts, sorts out the past research on the theory of social support, and described the study’s research background, research ideas and goals, research methods and procedures, and other related issues.The first chapter describes the causes leading to the phenomenon of abortion among secondary school students in three respects, physiology, psychology and sociology.The second chapter, from aspects of physical and mental harm, reveals the results of abortion to the secondary school students. Intuitively represents the bitter experiences which those students suffered.The third chapter attempts to advance specific social work resources to solve the subject of abortion among secondary school students. Based on three basic working methods of social work and different favored subjects, the paper develops the discussion to each of those working methods. Besides, in this chapter, it also proposes the possible the policy, legal and social support to those students.The Conclusion sums up the research condition of the paper, describes the new study, and finds that some of the limitations of this study, explains some problems that follows the academic and the moral aspects .
