Sino-Korean words have been used extensively and played an irreplaceable role inKorea. Based on the statistics of Chinese-originated words and compare with them withChinese words systematically. This study on the one hand can make Korean studentspay more attention to sino-korean words and help them understand the meanings.On theother hand it can make up the insufficient study in sino-korean words.Chinese and Korean words in the same shape are identified by counting andclassifying the vocabularies in Korean of Yonsei University.The important role theyplay in sino-korean vocabulary teaching can be seen after analyzing the amount andproportion they take up. They can be divided into four categories: synonym, partialcoincidence, homonym, synonymous abnormity.Summed up the important status androle of sino-korean words in Chinese teaching. Classified and analyzed idiom ofsino-korean words which are fully concerned. Based on the results of contrastiveanalysis, error analysis approach is adopted to analyze the second language acquisitionand the reasons for language transfer. Through the mistakes is made in ’HSK DynamicComposition Corpus’, several teaching approaches are carried out, and proved to beeffective and feasible, which may benefit Korean students learning sino-korean words.
