The Research Of Using Compound Carraghenates Cream On Patients After The Operation Of Mixed Hemorrhoids

Objective: Postoperative pain has influenced seriously upon patients’ postoperativerecovery and living qualities,especially after the operation of mixed hemorrhoids.Excrement and changing dressings after operation also put patients into a great pain,soseeking an ideal and effective postoperative pain-reliefing method becomes an ilnportanttask.The Compound Carraghenates Cream is used in the study to release the pain onpatients after the operation of combined hemorrhoids and then the effectiveness of thistherapeutic measure is observed.Method:30 patients after the operation of combined hemorrhoids are selected, they allhave the external hemorrhoids stripped and the inner hemorrhoids ligated and are dividedrandomly into tow group(n=15), the therapy group received the cream and the control groupdoes not use the cream. In the therapy group the cream is used on the wound when theoperation is finished and after the change of dressing. Score of the pain and side effects arerecorded in the same time.Result: The therapy group get better pain-releasing effects than the control group. Thepain scores in the first and the seventh day of the therapy group are lower than controlgroup, but there is no signifcant difference in the second and third day. The totaltherapeutic effects are different siginificantly(P＜0.05). Also there are significant differencein side effects such as oedema、scar and the heal time. And the feeling of distend and tall ofanus is less in the therapy group(P＜0.05). There is no significant difference between the twogroup in constipation and retention of urine(P＞0.05).Conclusion: The study indicates that the therapy group is superior than the controlgroup in preventing from the pain after the operation of mixed hemorrhoids. CompoundCarraghenates Cream can provide satisfactory pain-reliefing with fewer side effects, there isless occurrence of oedema in control group and the feeling of distend and fall of anus islittle too, it can also promote agglutination and reduce the formation of scare.
