Clinical Efficacy Of Jiawei Qingjin Huatan Decoction In Treating AECOPD Phlegm Heat And Blood Stasis And Influence On PCT,FIB

Objective:To observe the curative effect on acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) patients with Jiawei Qingjin Huatan Decoction in clinical symptoms and signs, the level of PCT and FIB in peripheral blood, provide the new clinical basis for treatment of AECOPD with traditional Chinese medicine. Methods:60patients met the diagnostic criteria of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and phlegm heat and blood stasis syndrome in TCM were randomly divided into two groups, the trial group and the control group. The patients of trial group take the Chinese medicine decoctions which is Jiawei Qingjin Huatan Decoction and simultaneously accept conventional therapy of the western medicine (controllability oxygen treatment, antibiotic, expectorants, bronchodilators), the control group only takes conventional therapy of the western medicine. The period of treatment is10days, to compare the result of two groups by analyzing clinical symptom and sign, the level of PCT and FIB in peripheral blood. Result:1.Clinical symptom and sign: After the treatment, melioration of clinical symptom and sign in both groups have difference. Compared with the control group, melioration of the trial group, such as wheeze, pulmonary rales is not different, but in cough, phlegm, Lips etc dark purple and tongue picture showing difference. The above result show that therapy of two groups both can improve symptoms and signs of patients, and the curative effect of the treatment group in cough, phlegm and blood stasis is better than control group.2.The level of PCT and FIB in peripheral blood: After the treatment, the decrease degree of PCT,FIB have difference in both groups. Compared with the control group, the decrease degree in trial group has difference, it show that melioration of the trial group is greater than the control group.Conclusion:The Jiawei Qingjin huatan decoction can improve the clinical symptoms and signs of AECOPD patients, especially in the performance of cough, phlegm and blood stasis, and decrease the level of PCT and FIB in peripheral blood, and the treatment effect is better than that of the control group..
