objective:Observe the efficacy and safety of fire acupuncture treating the plaque psoriasis and comprehensively evaluate its clinical value. Methods:Select the clinical subject60cases of patients (18-60years old) in total according to the diagnosis as well as inclusion and exclusion criteria of plaque psoriasis. Divide them randomly into treatment group (30cases) and control group (30cases). Use fire-needle therapy for the treatment group and Daivonex for the control group. Observe the curative effects and adverse indicators before and after change. Results:According to total effect, compare the cured and mainly effected rate of treatment group(77.40%) and control group(71.40%), showing no significant differences(P>0.05).The comparison of skin lesions before and after treated within group indicates that both the treatment group and the control group have significant statistical differences (P<0.05).The comparison of two-group skin lesions (except the scales index) after treated shows no statistical differences (P>0.05). In two cases the skin lesions subsided in30%time, with significant difference (P<0.05).Comparing the overall relapse rate, the treatment group (28.57%) and the control group(65%) have significant statistical differences (P<0.05).Comparing the relapse term of the two groups, the treatment group has a much longer term to relapse than the control group, showing significant statistical differences (P<0.05).Comparing the level of illness when relapsed, the treatment group has significant differences with the control group (P<0.05), suggesting that the cases are milder of treatment group than of control group when relapsed.Comparing the skin lesions when relapsed, except the scales index, every other index of the treatment group has significant differences with the control group (P<0.05). The curative effects of the two groups have no significant statistical differences with gender, age and course of disease (P>0.05). Conclusion:1.Fire-needle Therapy for plaque psoriasis has positive curative effect, which can more or less match the curative effect of western medicine (Daivonex).2.That fire needle therapy can significantly shorten the time resolution of the skin lesions.3.Fire-needle Therapy for plaque psoriasis has a better long-term effect, lower relapse rate, longer relapse term and lighter relapse symptoms than western medicine (Daivonex)4.Fire-needle Therapy for plaque psoriasis is safe and reliable. There is no case of adverse reactions during the whole course of treating.
