Objective: Compare the group score and quality of life,to evaluate the curativeeffect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture in the treatment ofacne vulgaris; and explore the possible mechanism of acupuncture therapy.Methods: Patients with acne vulgaris were randomly divided into treatment groupand control group.Each group contains30cases.The treatment group was treated withChinese medicine combined with acupuncture;the other group was treated bytanshinone capsule. After taking a weekly visit, two weeks as a course, two courseswere observed, to evaluate the efficacy, and to evaluate the quality of life of thepatients.Results:1.Lesions were significantly improved, comparing with early treatment,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), have good curative effect of twotreatment methods;2.There is no obvious adverse reaction during the treatment in thetwo groups, which are of good safety;3.Ture rate of treatment group was83.33%,control group, the cure rate was73.33%, the treatment group was significantly betterthan the control group, there was statistically significant (P<0.05);4.Quality of lifeassessment, compared before and after treatment, there was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture,tanshinone capsuleare effective in the treatment of acne vulgaris. The efficiency of the treatment group isbetter than the control group, which can quickly improve the skin lesions, the lifequality of the patients.
