Clinic Observation On Treating Acne (TCM Type: Wind And Heat In Lung) By The Ventouse And Venesection On Dazhui Acupoint With Herbs

Objective:The purpose of the clinic observation is about intra-group and with-group comparisons between pre-and post-treatment and then evaluate the clinical efficacy of treating acne(TCM type:Wind and Heat in Lung). Compare and analyze the treating effect of the ventouse and venesection on DaZhui Acupoint with Chinese herbs(the combined treatment) and simply by Chinese herbs to treat patients. Discuss the clinical requirement with the combined treatment and the effective mechanism of the therapy. Provide clinical basis for clinical combined treatment.Methods:It is a perspetiveness randomized controlled study.We devided the selected acne cases from the out-patient into two groups randomly.60 cases were in the treatment group, which were treated by the ventouse and venesection therapy on DaZhui Acupoint with Chinese herbs.60 cases were in the control group, which were treated simply by Chinese herbs.We made an observation table for recording the information which we woule collect the skin lesion of acne and its number and the accompany symptoms pre-and post-treatment. We put the information into the datebase, and statisticsed with the Statistical software (SPSS)13.0.Results:After 4 weeks therapy, it shows us the results as follow:1. The skin lesion of acne and the accompany symptoms are improved significantly by both therapies. There is statistics difference between pre-and post-treatment (P<0.05).It shows the both therapies are effective on treating acne(TCM type:Wind and Heat in Lung).2.There both have no side effects during the therapy.It shows that there is more advantage on treating acne by Chinesd Medicine.3. The total effective rate in the treatment group(95.00%) is higher than that of the control group(83.33%). There is statistics difference between the two groups(P<0.05).4. Compared with the skin lesion score of acne pre-treatment there is non-statistics difference in the two groups (P>0.05). And after one week therapy, there is statistics difference in the two groups(P<0.05).It shows that the combined treatment is more quickly in improving the skin lesion.5.The effective mechanism of treating acne by the ventouse and venesection on DaZhui Acupoint maybe that bleeding on DaZhui Acupoint can let out the heat in lung. And on the other hand, the therapy can regulate the function of Zang and Fu by the pathways of "pi-luo-jing-fu-zang", and finally regulate the Qi and Blood,balance the Yin and Yang.Conclusion:The therapies by ventouse and venesection on dazhui acupoint therapy with the modifying PiPa QingFei Yin and simply by the modifying PiPa QingFei Yin on treating acne(TCM type:Wind and Heat in Lung) are effective. And the combined treatment can more quicky improve the skin lesion. The effective mechanism of treating acne by the ventouse and venesection on dazhui acupoint maybe that bleeding on DaZhui acupoint can let out the heat in lung. And on the other hand, the therapy can regulate the function of Zang and Fu by the pathways of "pi-luo-jing-fu-zang", and finally regulate the Qi and Blood,balance the Yin and Yang.
