Objective Observe the advantages and disadvantages of the Radio frequency targetthermosetting ablation combined ozone and percutaneous lumbar discectomytechnology in the treatment of lumbar disc herniationMethods The research object is taken from January2010to September2011, thehospital stay of Interventional Radiology patients with lumbar disc herniation50cases,30males and20females, in order of admission time to take a completely randommethod is divided into study group of25patients and the control group25patients, theminimum age of the study group is30years old and the oldest age is66years old, theminimum duration of2months, the longest duration of240months, the minimumprominent objects is3.0mm, the maximum projecting matter is7.0mm; In control group,The minimum age is28years, the maximum age is68years, the minimum duration ofthree months, the longest duration of220months, the minimum prominent objects is3.2mm, the maximum projection material is7.8mm, two groups in the mean age ofpatients, duration of time, highlighting matter the size difference was not statisticallysignificant (P>0.05). The study group was treated with Radio frequency targetthermosetting ablation combined ozone, The control group using percutaneous lumbardiscectomy.50patients with a total of50disc disease, The Study group of25patients(25lesions) disc; The control group of25patients (25lesions) disc. Observed inpatients with complications, hospitalization and VAS score of treatment after seven days,a month, six-month and recovery of postoperative7days,1month,6months (Macnabassessment standards), operative time and exposure time to evaluate the advantages anddisadvantages of two different methods in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Results Comparison of the two groups overall incidence of complications: StudyGroup1patients the pain got worse, two cases of allergies to ozone, and no uroschesisand local hematoma occur, the overall incidence of complication rate was1.2%(3/25).in the control group2cases of postoperative pain got worse,1cases of local hematoma, one case occur uroschesis, the overall incidence of complications was1.6%(4/25), thetwo groups (P>0.05), the difference was not statistically significant. Comparison ofVAS scores in the two groups: the study group and the control group in the7days aftertreatment, the1-month efficacy were significantly different (P <0.05), a statisticallysignificant; in the long-term efficacy after6months comparative there was nosignificant difference (P>0.05), was not statistically significant. Macnab standard ofcomparison the two groups: the study group and the control group in the7days aftertreatment,1month efficacy significant difference (P <0.05) was statistically significant,in the long-term efficacy after6months comparative there was no significant difference(P>0.05),was not statistically significant. Comparison of operative time and theexposure time in two groups: the average operation time of the study groups was20.54min, the average exposure time was14.33min; In the control group, the averageoperation time was23.66min, an average exposure time was17.89min, the differencewas statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion Interventional treatment of lumbar disc herniation achieved have goodresults, It can be used as the preferred method of treatment of lumbar disc herniation; Inchoice of treatment, Radio frequency target thermosetting ablation combined ozoneadvantage of the strong oxidizing effect of ozone to eliminate disc aseptic inflammationof the surrounding tissue to achieve good chemical effect of decompression;radiofrequency ablation nucleus pulposus, prompting prominent nucleus back satisfied, repaired the annulus, reduced disc pressure in physically, both bonded to each other, canplay a synergistic role. Target RF fuser united ozone injection technique haveadvantages of small injury, the recent good results, the operation time is short, can reduce the medical staff and the patient’s exposure time, etc..
