| Objective:To investigate the expression of NGFR. ER in uterine junctional zone, and evaluate the relationship between the expression of NGFRã€ER and dysmenorrhea in patients with adenomyosis. Methods:Samples of JZ were collected from twenty-seven adenomyosis patients(19patients in proliferative phase and8patients in secretory phase) and eighteen uterine fibroids patients(12patients in proliferative phase and6patients in secretory phase), employed Immunohistochemical streptavidin-biotin peroxidase (SP) method to detect the expression of NGFRã€ER in uterine junctional zone. The relationship between dysmenorrhea score of adenomyosis patients by visual analogue scales(visual analogue scale/score, VAS)and the expression of NGFRã€ER in JZ were analyzed Spearman’s Bivariate Correlation. The relationship between the expression of NGFR and ER in JZ were analyzed Spearman’s Bivariate Correlation.Results:1. NGFR. ER both expressed in ADS group and control group,NGFR located in cytoplasm, while ER located in nucleus. 2. Expression of NGFR in JZ of ADS group was stronger than control group(P<0.01).Expression of NGFR was no significant difference in proliferative phase compared with secretory phase in two groups of JZ(P>0.05). There was significant correlation between the expression NGFR in JZ of ADS group and the degree of dysmenorrhea in patients with adenomyosis (r=0.774, P<0.05).3. Expression of ER in JZ of ADS group was stronger than control group(P<0.01).Expression of ER was no significant difference in proliferative phase compared with secretory phase in two groups of JZ(P>0.05).There was significant correlation between the expression ER in JZ of ADS group and the degree of dysmenorrhea in patients with adenomyosis (r=0.613, P<0.05).4. There was significant positive correlation between the expression NGFR and ER in JZ (i=0.581, P<0.05).Conclusion:The high expression of NGFR,ER in JZ suggests NGFR,ER may involved in the pathogenesis of the adenomyosis;Expression of NGFR,ER was no significant difference in proliferative phase compared with secretory phase in two groups of JZ,show the expression of NGFR,ER may have no direct correlate with menstrual cycle;NGFR and ER expressions in JZ in patients with adenomyosis were found to positively correlate to the degree of dysmenorrhea, showing that NGFR and ER may result in dysmenorrhea of adenomyosis;the expression of NGFR and ER in JZ has a significantly positive correlation, suggesting that NGFR, ER may act synergistically in the pathogenesis of adenomyosis. |
