Early weaning of piglets has become the most important means of reducing productive cost of pig and increasing economic efficiency in Chinese pig industry, but has can cause the adverse effects such as early weaning diarrhea of piglet. Currently, antibiotics used as feed additives in prevention from weaning diarrhea of the piglets have the good results, but were followed by antibiotic drug residues, bacterial resistance, public health and safety and other issues, which have the serious harm to human health. Development of safe, no drug residue, no drug resistance feed additives to combat diarrhea in weaned piglets has become an urgent problem, and traditional Chinese medicine in this area has a unique advantage. Therefore, our study is to screen traditional Chinese medicine of the effectively control of animals post-weaning diarrhea by making a weaning diarrhea model in rats, and explore the effects of traditional Chinese medicine in prevention of diarrhea in weaned piglets, aims to provide a research foundation to develop drugs of effective prevention and treatment of post-weaning diarrhea of piglets. Therefore, this study respectively by21-day-old weaned diarrhea piglets and weaned rats as the research object, and Senna is used for making weaning diarrhea model in rats, respectively filter traditional Chinese medicine compound which has a good prevention and control of animal diarrhea; At the same time, take weaned piglets diarrhea models by irrigate21-day-old weaning piglets with intestinal toxicity Escherichia coli, afterwards, the post-weaning diarrhea piglets wasfed respectively for10days with Chinese medicine compound and colistin, then at the same time, observe the clinical symptoms of the weaned piglets, monitoring the production performance, organ index, routine blood, serum biochemical indexes, liver tissue antioxidant index and serum diamine oxidase activity, make and observe the pathology of the intestinal mucosa, Results show: 1.Adiarrhea model successfully was made through to give the weaned rats take senna liquid filling; herbal medicine prescription Ⅱ can improve production performance in weaned rats, significantly increase liver, spleen organ index in the rats, enhance protein synthesisin weaned rats and other aspects of better than herbal medicine prescription Ⅰ.Therefore, herbal medicine prescription Ⅱ was determined traditional Chinese medicine compound as a follow-up study.2.The measure by feeding21-day-old weaned pigs with E. coli enterotoxin broth successfully produced weaning diarrhea model in the piglets; Chinese herbal compound can significantly reduce diarrhea index in weaned piglets, inhibit the occurrence and development of intestinal inflammation, promote platelet formation, and can reduce the level of body tissue protein catabolism, which can effectively improve the intestinal mucosal damage and significantly enhance their intestinal villi length (V/C) ratio, decrease intestinal crypt depth, reduce serum diamine oxidase activity, improve reparation of intestinal damage and upgrowth ofintestinal tract in the piglets of post-weaning diarrhea.3. Measuring the antioxidant indicators in porcine liver indicates that traditional Chinese medicine can effectively reduce MDA content in liver tissue in the piglets, reduce liver damage, and colistin sulfate can prevent and treat post-weaning diarrhea by enhancing the antioxidant functions in post-weaning diarrheal piglets.
