Study On The Mechanism Of Chinese Herbal Formula In Preventing And Curing Diarrhoea In Weaned Piglets

The mechanism of preventing and curing diarrhoea by Chinese herbal formula "Qingzengkang" in weaned Piglets was investigated through blood serum Pharmacological test,Pathological tests and Physiological tests.Experiment 1:A total of 12 piglets weaned at 28 days were randomly assigned to 3 treatment groups,which are charge group,Chinese traditional group and west medicine group,4 per set.Piglets of every group were raised by basis daily ration,basis daily ration containing 3%"Qingzengkang" and Zhengda feed.Every piglet was sampled blood from precava to prepare blood serum.Then did the drug sensitive test to bacterium coli and salmonella in k-b method.And ascertain the bacteriostatic effect of each slip according to the size of bacteriostatic circle.Results:There is not any bacteriostatic action to colibacillus and salmonella with distilled water and normal saline.The serum of Chinese herbal formula group was better than infusion,apozema and ordinary group to colibacillus and salmonella and "Zhengda" group to salmonella.Exept salmonella was hypersensitive to serum of Chinese medicine,colibacillus and salmonella were midrange sensitive to the others.Experiment 2:A total of 36 piglets weaned at 28 days were randomly assigned to 4 treatment groups,each of which was 9.They are charge group(groupâ… ),low dose group (groupâ…¡),medium dose group(groupâ…¢) and high dose group(groupâ…£).Every group was 3 replicates and 3 piglets per set.Piglets of every group were raised by basis daily ration with addition of "Qingzengkang",the amount of which were 0%,0.25%,0.5%and 1%in order to study the effects to diarrhoea rates,performance and so on.Results: Diarrhoea rates can be cut down by "Qingzengkang" and each of them was 5.95%,4.36%, 3.57%and 1.59%from groupâ… to groupâ…£.With the addition amount of 0.25%,the performance of piglets could be raised by 9.41%while degrade by 1.50%and 21.42%with the amount of 0.5%and 1%.And the depressant effect was enhanced with the augment of addition amount.The quantities of WBC and intermediate cells could be increased and AST,ALT,AKP,Ur and Cre could be decreased.The quantity of colibacillus of caecum, colon and intrarectal could be decreased.The organs of digestive system could be ameliorated from morphology.In conclusion,"qingzengkang" can enhance the bacteriostasis,influence the quantities of WBC,intermediate cells,AST,ALT and so on,ameliorate and function of heart and kidney,decrease the quantity of colibacillus in intestinal tract significantly,and ameliorate organs of digestive system from morphology so as to attain the effect of boosting immunity and prevention and cure diarrhea of weaned piglets.
