| The aging of population brought a full range of impact including all levels of social, economic and cultural to a country or region. The Broadest aspect is the issue of the elderly living in the field of architecture of aging population. Home based care has been always the most popular pension mode in Hangzhou according to the current situation of the level of social security, economic conditions and traditional cultural background.The existing residential has become the carrier of the elderly in their living. But, the existing residential has been unable to meet the special needs of the elderly.Urban residential built in1980s has been unable to meet the needs of the elderly including both the use of space and Hardware facilities because of the low-level construction. The elderly are mostly living in the1980s residential areas, so the issue of the elderly living in the1980s residential areas is much more serious than the residential areas built in1990s or later. The residential areas in built in1980s are widely distributed in Hangzhou, and the main structure is well preserved. There is still a long time to be used about20～30years. The paper proposes the renovation for elderly of the1980’s old residential in Hangzhou according to above points.It takes the old residential built in1980s in Hangzhou as the research object in this paper, and summarizes the living states of elderly of1980’s old communities and the problems of residential bad for the elderly through visits and survey. It is attempt to explore an effective and feasible method to solve the problems of the renovation of the old residential built in1980s in Hangzhou from the view of architecture. |
