With the increased height of the buildings, its security risks are becoming moreand more serious. Once sudden accidents such as fire or explosion have taken place inthe tall buildings, it is difficult for the trapped people to get aid at the first timebecause of many factors such as time, space restrictions. At this point, how to savethem became a pressing problem for the trapped people. Therefore, a kind of devicethat is designed for the trapped person to save his life is becoming socially valuable.Based on the current situation of high-rise fire rescue, a kind of new high-riseescape device has been designed in this paper, and also motion simulation analysisand structure parameter optimization to the device have been conducted. The concreteresearches are as follows:(1) On the basis of the overview of descending device research status at homeand abroad, the author gives a comprehensive analysis on the work ing principle andstructural features of the existing high-rise escape device and proposes a program todecelerate the descending device by relying on the combination of friction dampingand fluid damping. On this basis, under the h elp of UG, the3D model and entiremachine assembling model of each parts of the escape device drive system have beenestablished.(2) Import the3D assembly model of high-rise escape device to ADAMSsoftware, its motion simulation model is established and the simulation experiment iscarried out. The simulation results show that, the stable slow descent speed of thebody is consistent with the theoretical calculation results; the correctness of thetheoretical calculation has been confirmed.(3) The volume of centrifugal friction mechanism is as the optimization goal, itsinFluent factors have been analyzed, the constraint conditions of design have beenoptimized and the mathematical model of parameter optimization has been established.Then on the principle of genetic algorithm, the optimal parameter model has beenachieved through using MATLAB Genetic Algorithm and Direct Search Toolbox tosolve the model. After optimization, the volume of centrifugal friction mechanismreduced38.9%in contrast with the volume before optimization. Its performance hasbeen improved and also saved a lot of materials.The slow down scheme which combine s the function of friction damping and fluid damping is used in the high-rise escap e device designed in this paper, which isof high security and well smoothness. For high-rise escape device research, withbetter guidance.
