At present, in the high-tech and information-based society, with the continuous improvement of living standards, people’s demand for products not only in the material aspect, has given rise to the cultural characteristics and emotional experience to meet stage. The product is no longer purely physical form, but as a kind of emotional form, people carrying the understanding of culture as well as life emotion. In this case, how to accurately grasp the user’s emotional experience and needs, embody the local culture characteristic, has become a designer cannot evasive task.Man is both perceptual and rational, the product is increasingly rich, perceptual effect is more and more big. Emotional factors in the design of integrate more, consumers can meet the spiritual needs more, resulting in emotional resonance. Therefore, the emotional factors in the design of the importance of product design, emotional design is one of the development trends, to meet the user’s emotion demand becomes the key of the product design. To meet the user’s emotion demand for the product on the product itself to improve the additional value of product; from the business point of view, can increase sales profit; for consumers, to meet the rational function outside of the emotional needs.This topic is directed by the author in the Guangxi Autonomous Region Department of education scientific research project:"experience design" concept in contemporary art design application research—Guilin north ethnic characteristics of tourism product development and design research. Study on requirement of project in northern Guangxi Ethnic Culture on the basis of design elements, extraction, has developed a series of regional culture characteristics of the products, to fill gaps in the market.This paper mainly studies the characteristics of regional culture in northern Guangxi, user needs and design factors of emotional experience emotional expression relationship. First of all, from the view of psychology, emotional needs of users. Then, the paper discusses the regional culture on product design, the paper attempts to put the region national culture as a whole system, to " experience design " concept and design management method to establish brand meaning; through the study of the regional cultural features into the design of regional culture, improve the quality and visibility, creating unique product image, create new products, completed on the basis of a series of Northern Guangxi national culture characteristic of product design.
