Yanzhao Regional Culture In The Design Of The Dining Space

Abstract Along with social progress and the improvement of people’s living standards,the catering space is not only the simple dining environment, but also becomes theimportant way to show the regional culture, folk characteristics and the quality of life for aregion and a nation. Everything has its unique tags and locality, not only for dialect, but alsofor design. So this thesis is devoted to research the regionalism of catering space, which isbased on Yanzhao region culture, and takes the dining space as the research object. Byexploring the relationship between Yanzhao region culture and the dining space design, theprinciples of Yanzhao unique regional culture in the dining space design, the elements andthe application methods, this thesis is searching for new ways to application innovation.And it is combining the research achievements of contemporary with the example ofBeijing Zhili Hall, making the regional culture in the abstract more visualization andmaterialization. This thesis is illuminating that exploring the regionalism of the dining spacedesign has become an important step for making the interior design of catering spaceprosperous, and putting forward that the dining space interior design which can embody theregional culture must set up the correct region cultural viewpoint.
