The tribe Lepturini belongs to Lepturinae of Cerambycidae in Coleoptera. Larva of some species are serious agriculture and forest pests; adults of this tribe have pollination behavior, so they are important pollinating insects. The economic significance, the research history of Lepturini at home and abroad, and the research history of comparative morphology are briefly introduced. We work on classification and morphological comparison. The main results are following:1. Taxonomy278species in53genera of Lepturini are recorded, and the morphological characters of102species in22genera are supplementally described. Based on the results of comparative morphological study, the key to genera and the key to species are provided. Type specimens of77species in23genera are examined, specimen examination in genus-level was43.4%,and specimen examination in species-level was27.7%. Male genitalia and hind-wing of some species are performed, the details of the structures are drawn. Leptura subtilis Bates,1884and Leptura ochraceofasciata ochrotela Bates,1873were two newly record species from China.2. Comparative morphology studyComparative morphology study in genus-level:We select124morphological characters for study such as the shape of antennae, forehead, clypeus, pronotum, elytra; the shape of lateral lobes, roof exist or not, terminal ring combine or not; the shape of radial cell, the branch of MP3+4exist or not, the length of r3to r4. Comparative studies are carried out based on the124morphological characteristics of41genus of Lepturini. The results indicate that there are38morphological characters such as the shape of antennae, forehead, pronotum, elytra, roof exist or not, terminal ring combine or not, the shape of radial cell, the length of r3to r4could be used for identification at genus level.Comparative morphology study in species-level:We select124morphological characters for study such as the shape of antennae, forehead, clypeus, pronotum, elytra; the shape of lateral lobes, roof exist or not, terminal ring combine or not; the shape of radial cell, the branch of MP3+4exist or not, the length of r3to r4. The results indicate that the characters which have taxonomic significance in different genera are not identical. And there are42morphological characters such as the shape of maxillary palpi apex, the relative length of antennae segments, the color of pronotum, the maculae of pronotum presence or absence, the number and shape of elytral maculae, the shape of elytral apex, the length-width ratio of paramere, the density of the seta in paramere, the ratio of median lobe to median structs can be used for species-level identification. And the hind-wing venations haven’t taxonomic significance in species-level.Leptura:There are27morphological characters such as the shape of pronotum and elytra, the length-width ratio of paramere, the ratio of median lobe to median structs could be used to identify species. Macroleptura:There are16morphological characters such as the maculae of elytra presence or absence, the shape of maculae, the location of terminal ring combine could be used to identify species. Pedostrangalia:There are12morphological characters such as the maculae of elytra presence or absence, the shape and quantity of elytral maculae could be used to identify species. Sinostrangalis:There are11morphological characters such as the quantity and the shape of elytral maculae, the length-width ratio of Cap could be used to identify species. Ischnostrangalis: There are21morphological characters such as the relative length of antennae the color of elytra, the length-width ratio of paramere, the ratio of median lobe to median structs could be used to identify species. Pygostrangalia:There are13morphological characters such as the vertical striping of pronotum presence or absence, the color of pronotum, the quantity elytral maculae could be used to identify species. Nanostrangalia:There are8morphological characters such as the color of elytra, the quantity elytral maculae could be used to identify species. Gnathostrangalia:There are7morphological characters such as the color of antennae and elytra, the shape of elytral maculae could be used to identify species. Strangalia:There are13morphological characters such as the color of antennae, the quantity and the shape of elytral maculae could be used to identify species.According to comparative morphological research we provide keys, complementing the description.
