Study On The Cognition Problems In Sustainable Development Of Wildlife Resources

How to promote the sustainable development of wildlife resources has become a research topics concerned by countries in the world. Meanwhile, the conflict between maintenance of ecological balance and satisfaction of economic and social development needs have an influence on people’s awareness on the wildlife utilization attitude. Therefore, a deep research on the relational cognition problems in sustainable development of wildlife resources makes a great difference.In this paper, I regard attitude survey about the sustainable use of wildlife as a starting point, there is a deep study on the cognition problems in sustainable development of wildlife resources.1000questionnaires are delivered in Northeast Forestry University, the survey mainly investigated undergraduate freshmen, undergraduate students, graduate students and parents of the freshmen. The questions mainly involve the relationships between human and wildlife, the level of awareness about attitudes on conservation and utilization of wildlife resources and related policies. The survey recycled930questionnaires finally,906valid questionnaires, recovery rate are93%, and the effective rate was90.6%. Questionnaire survey data is analyzed by One-way ANOVA, typical value, standard deviation, descriptive statistic in Excel2003and the SPSS17.0.The results show that the majority (69.9%) maintains decrease in wildlife has impact on life, the overall cognitive is high, there are Significant differences in different genders (p=0.008) and educational backgrounds (p=0.002,0.029);65.8%of people think that breeding of wildlife can reduce the over-exploitation of wild resources, overall educational background (p=0.000), the educational background of parents (p=0.000) and frequency of using the internet have a significant difference on the choice of the question;71.7%of the overall survey samples show that putting an end to all use behavior can’t be achieved,, the overall educational background (p=0.000) and parent education background (p=0.000) showed significant differences; More than half (57.9%) of the public think that the related public-spirited ads are reasonable and different regions are quite different (p=0.000);83.7%of the people think that if we don’t destroy the ecological balance, reasonable exploitation and utilization of wildlife in the wild is feasible, there are significant differences in parent education background (p=0.000) and different areas (p=0.017);in the question" if the number of endangered species effectively restored after breeding,the feasibility of strictly limit use are reasonable", most people (71.2%) have chosen a reasonable option, general educational background (p=0.034), and parent education background (p=0.003) showed a significant difference; Survey of the relevant national policy awareness, total public awareness is low, general educational background (p=0.004), and frequency of reading newspaper has a significant difference (p=0.049).The factors which affect resources conservation and utilization attitude after the survey and data processing are:gender differences, level of education, regional differences, the media, life experiences, the understanding level of national policy and specious guidance of some animal protection organizations. Above all, some feasible suggestions are given to promote scientific conservation of wildlife and solve the cognition problems in sustainable development of wildlife resources:protect and utilize wildlife in a holistic point of view; understanding the close Contact between protection and utilization of wildlife resources and progress and development of human civilization; refine and improve the wildlife conservation educational; carry out a reasonable wildlife protection concept of education for different types of people; Strengthen the guiding role of the media; build a good certification system of wildlife industrial; have emphasis on animal welfare; concern about the motives of some animal protection organizations and so on.
