In recent years, the tourism industry has developed nationwide at a rapidspeed. Many cities gradually focused on the economic growth of tertiary sector, which is leaded primarily by the tourism industry, particularly in the wake ofcontinuous traffic perfection, the bottlenecks of tourism development has gotdifferent penetrations in each place, the scope of spatial tourist activities has beenenlarged, tourist cooperation among districts has been enhanced and the futureprospect of tourism development will be broadened. This paper is based on thecase of the tourist area in southern Anhui, selecting three time sections forcomparing, which are2001,2005and2009, in addition,2015is taken asprediction time section. Transportation superiority degree is chosen to beevaluation index and there aspects such as tourist destination, touristtransportation and tourist flowin are analysed respectively in this paper, in order todiscover the coupling regularities between regional transportation developmentand evolutions of tourism space structure, and reasonable proposals of futureregional tourism development are based on the regularities. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter summarize thestudy background, the theoretic significances and the practical significances, thenneaten relative basic theories and put forward actual evidences combined withspecific conditions of tourism space structure, finally introduce study methods, technique routes and data sources. The second section summarize relative researchsituations about tourism transportation and tourism space structure from foreignfields to domestic fields., then give definitions to the five concepts, which aretourism transportation, tourist destination, tourist resource, tourist flow, tourismspace structure and transportation superiority degree. In the third section, the transportation superiority model is used. First theevolution characteristics of regional transportation structure are analysed based onthe three indexes of network density, trunk line influence degree and accessibility, then the index of transportation superiority degree is synthesized. As a result, threeevolution characteristics are revealed, which can be summarized as following:⑴advanced regions extended gradually along the transportation trunk lines;⑵regional differences become less gradually and new transportation centersappeared;⑶the spatial structure transforms from "single pole" to "twin pole".Afterwards, the2015future structure of transportation trunk line influence andaccessibility are predicted by the current data and programmes of future high-speed rails and freeways. The fourth section discuss the effect of transportation on the regional tourismspace structure in three aspects of tourist transportation, tourist destination andtourist flow, then predict the future changes of regional tourism space structure. Atlast, the evolution process is discovered as following: on the one hand, touristdevelopment axes become mature gradually. At present, there are two principalaxes, which are Hefei-Tongling-Huangshan expressway and Yanjiang expressway. In the future, there will be two new axes, which are Beijing-fuzhou high-speedrailway and WanGan railway. On the other hand, ranks of tourist destinationschange with the alteration of transportation trunk line routes. At this stage,Huangshan city, Wuhu city and Chizhou city are the tourism cores. In the future, the structure may be transformed to Huangshan-Wuhu "twin pole". In addition, tourism in the cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province will be developed. The model of tourist convection will be formed throughout the area.In the fifth chapter, basic conclusions are summarized, and several proposalsand strategies about further development of regional tourism are put forward.Meanwhile, the innovations and deficiencies of this paper are pointed, in order toget further perfection and refining in the future.
