Research On Enterprise Patent Management Based On Open Innovation

The open innovation model uses existing invention to progress more instead ofreinvent. An open innovation model needs the combination of internal and externalinnovation. The industry, universities, the upstream and downstream suppliers andcustomers and even the government all together make a successful model. The aim ofmanagement is not to concern only one single patent, but to develop a complete set ofexternal technology and patent applications around the basic patent technology in atimely manner. This makes patent management complicated. The value of aninnovation patent is not only reflected in the traditional technology commercializationprocess, but extends to technology licensing, litigation counter, standard alliance,technology capitalization and a series of derivatives of the process. Based on this,companies must establish a patent management model in line with the openinnovation conditions. Which requires companies should adjust its managementstrategy to comprehensively utilize of internal and external innovation resources,integrate the resources of industrial innovation based on the stage of the life cycle oftechnology and the level of the enterprise in which the division of labor. For the purpose of finding the bestbusiness model to the delimitation of the focus of the corporate patent management,made the establishment of organizational structure and departments consistent withthe mutual penetration. Finally, according to the above study built a corporate patentmanagement mechanism in the open innovation model.The5th chapter, Enterprises’ patent management based on TLC phrases of openinnovation, Technology life cycle has undergone important changes under openinnovation condition. TLC recession has gradually fade, replaced by technologicalinnovation platform development.
