With the constantly improvement of teaching philosophy and the updating of teachingmethods, the traditional way of teaching is not satisfied with the current university education.The development of computer technology and the popular network make online learning to bea turning point of teaching reform. However, it is founded that online learning has somedefinite limitations in practice, so it can’t replace traditional classroom learning. Therefore, thethesis focuses on how to draw mixed learning into the universities teaching. Taking theuniversity computer foundation curriculum for example, it discusses the new approachwhether can improve the quality of teaching and students’ learning effect.Blended learning is a new approach which blends the traditional classroom learning andonline learning on the basis of educational technology theory. The idea of blend in theblended learning mixed theories into the whole education rather then any single aspect.The development of computer and network technology make the cloud computing timescoming. When the cloud computing is applied to the education field, the assisted instructionof it emerges as the times require. This thesis provided some detail descriptions of theconception, technology, characteristic and develop situation of Cloud Computing at first, andthen use some kinds of cloud applications which are provided by Google Company to buildthe web-based learning environment of The Computer Foundation of the University ofauxiliary teaching platform. The entire learning environment is composed by networklearning platform, the network communication platform and various learning tool.This thesis made an in-depth study to the blended learning supporting theories andconnotation. Then, it analyzed and drew the model of Dick and Kerry teaching designsystematizes process. The thesis combined the characteristics of The Computer Foundationof the University" to establish a corresponding blended learning design model. Finally itdesigned a blended learning program of "The Computer Foundation curriculum of theUniversity" in strict accordance with this model and applied it in the actual teaching to verifythe correctness and necessity of the thesis study.
