With the development of Computer Application Foundation teaching reform inSecondary vocational schools,it has become a major practical issue that how tochange a different level of students lack of motivation to learn and lack of interest inlearning,how to improve students’ability to use computer,and how to improve thelevel of Computer Application Foundation teaching.This research combined the individual characteristics of vocational schoolstudents and the characteristics of Computer Application Foundation teaching.Weintroduced the concept and mode of Blended Learning to course teaching. We used acombination of traditional face-to-face lectures and online learning , lessoned theiradvantages and disadvantages,and then found out a suitable method for secondaryvocational students in Computer Application Foundation teaching。This research is based on theories and models of Blended Learning.We usedquestionnaire survey, literature method, interview method, and action research method.This paper researched the basic theory of Blended Learning, Blended Learningteaching model,and analysed all aspects of design and all issues which should be paidattention to in the implementation process. We expored Use The IE Browser,this unitcourse in Computer Application Foundation course in Secondary vocational schools.In the end,we analysed the effect of the classroom implementation in Quantitative +qualitative method and found out the advantages and disadvantages of our practice.This research and analysis proves that Blended Learning is suitable forvocational students learning.It has an active influence on the course and greatlyimproved the students’ interest. Sub-network collaborative learning method improvesthe practical and communication ability,masters the required skills firmly in the groupcooperation. Meanwhile,Blended Learning is good for students’ teamwork spirit, theability to listen and cooperate.The students have improved their information literacyand vocational skills in their course learning.
