The residential area is a crowded area of private cars, prone to car theft. Especially, in recent years, with the continuous improvement of the living standards, the number of private cars is also rising. The whole nation has built many modern residential districts. Intelligent community has been gaining popularity. Private cars are very valuable private property of the residents, so designing a convenient, reliable, efficient, smart car security system is particularly important. Based on the above, a car security system based on wireless sensor network is designed for the characteristic that property companies can grasp the information of the car owners in the residential area.Intelligent management and real-time monitoring for the cars in the residential area are provided through ZigBee network, GSM network and Internet. The feature of the system is that the parking lot is divided into a number of parking areas and there is a one-to-one correspondence relation between anchor nodes and parking areas. In this way, when the car join ZigBee network through an anchor node, we will be aware of the parking area of the car. Thus this paper uses the feature of Sigsbee short-range communication to achieve regional positioning for the cars. In the security condition, if a car is not security, the sensor node with infrared module of the shooting will generate an alarm signal. Then the alarm signal will be passed to the parking administrator and the owner through the anchor node, the routing node, the coordinator node, gateway and GSM module, etc. The parking administrator can view the alarm information and inform security guard to take corresponding measures through the host computer. When the owners aren’t in the residential area, the parking administrator can promptly notify the owners or owners’family according to the information of owners in the host computer in order to make the appropriate treatment. The owners who want to drive can close the sensor node on the door to avoid false alarms. The system overcomes the shortcomings of traditional car security system.This paper achieves the host computer system, the hardware and software of the car security system for intelligent community based on wireless sensor network. In view of the defects and insufficiencies of traditional car security system, on the basis of analyzing system requirement, design the overall architecture of the system. At the same time, the functions of ZigBee network devices, gateway and server are analyzed and discussed. And the workflow of the entire system is designed in detail. This system based on module design idea designs the hardware equipment of the car security system for intelligent community and analyzes the hardware part of the coordinator gateway and the embedded Linux gateway. Then the software part of ZigBee network equipment is designed and performed. At the same time, this paper designs the format of wireless communication command frame as well as serial communication data frame. Finally, the design of Java Web monitoring system based on B/S mode is achieved. Not only design two types of gateway middleware, and use the open source frameworks such as Hibernate, Struts to design MySQL database system as well as Java Web remote monitoring interface. Thus the system achieves integrated management for the information of the car owners in the residential area, real time monitoring for three car security states and visual representation for the regional positioning of the cars.
