Research On Wireless Sensor Network Security Technologies And Its Application

The ZigBee-based wireless sensor network is widely used in production and life because it requires low power consumption and cost. Its security issues have received increasing attentions, but the better security mechanism requires some complex algorithms, the security mechanism will make the protocol used in more environments if it ensures network security efficiently while at the same time reducing its power consumption.In this paper, the ZigBee protocol have been introduced firstly, and the paper analyzes each protocol layer of the protocol, working mechanism and the frame format, then the safety measures can now be able to be used in the each layer of the ZigBee protocol have been researched. Authentication mechanism based on symmetric encryption algorithm is researched on the basis of previous research to using CC2530 hardware implementation of AES algorithm, then the detailed steps of the authentication mechanism is descripted and the security and performance of the consumption is analyzed. by modifying authentication mechanism function of the open source agreement FreekZ to achieve the new authentication mechanism and experiment data analysis. The new authentication mechanism applies to the system that need a limited number of nodes.After designing and implementing the new authentication mechanism, the paper have verified it’s actual application through building a network of medical care that including two security mechanisms, such as The AES algorithm and The new authentication mechanism. The hardware part of the network includes two parts as follows:HGK-70A pulse sensor acquisiting pulse data, the serial devices that used to set up the network, verify the authentication and send data to the host computer. The implementation of the ZigBee protocol is achieved by modify the physical layer, the network layer and application layer in transplantation the FreekZ in order to better apply to the medical monitoring network. First the ZigBee protocol using the new autentication mechanism is provided that it can set up the network normally, and then the new authentication mechanism is proved that it can ensure the legitimacy of the network nodes by detecting the authentication process.
