With the continuous development of economic society, the rapid growth of mobile phone users, the continuous expansion of GSM mobile communication network, mobile users of Internet phone quality put forward higher request. Therefore, network quality more and more become the lifeblood of communication enterprises. As is known to all, among all of these techniques, the network optimization can effectively improve the quality of the network, network security, improve the network performance. But, rapid speed of city construction make the environment of transmission become more and more complex, this feature increases the difficulty of the network optimization. In order to locate the network problem quickly, to response to customer complaints timely, to improve customer satisfaction obviously, to ensure high quality of the mobile communication network, mobile communication operators put forward the goal of building signaling monitoring system. One of the most important function of signaling monitoring system is the synthesis and reappearing of CDR(Call Detail records), so that via this, users can preliminarily locate network problem.Based on wireless network optimization studies, combined with the architecture of the existing signaling monitoring system and the structure of CDR, this thesis designed and implemented a classification method of the CDR according to the results of operations of CDR, and then in order to reduce the demand for the amount of storage, this thesis designed the signaling screening function according to the CDR classification results. Traditional classification methods can’t reflect the specific circumstances of the course of business, such as the level of quality, and can’t find the reasons for dropped calls. Based on the above ideas, this thesis propose a new CDR classification, this approach has the ability to record the problem belongs to which level of the signaling network, and record the specific reasons of the problem. In addition, according to the analysis of MR information, this thesis record the covering and interference of network to meet the demand of visually locating network problems by CDR.After the actual test of multiple regions, the classification can accurately reflect the business results of the CDR, and network optimization engineers be able to quickly locate problems through the classification results, and the signaling screening function achieved the purpose of reducing the amount of storage. These functions meet the needs of customers and obtain the affirmation of users.
