With the telecommunications rapid development in recent years, Now GSMnetwork has reached a mature stage, network optimization means from the beginning ofthe Drive Test, in the development of omc statistics, parameter, complaints analysis,now we need comprehensive network " can be see, can be controlled, can be analysis,can be traceability", so the GSM signaling monitoring system emerge as the timesrequire, it is a more systematic optimization methods, it can rapid positioning networkproblems, guide the network optimization.Signaling monitoring system through collecting, decoding and coding various ofsignaling and signaling protocol data, reproduction call process, With independence,thoroughness, and real time characteristic. Monitoring the A interface signaling ismainly used in the network monitoring, alarm, ABIS interface and Measurement Reportcontains a large amount of network quality information, through combined with the Aand Abis analysis the network performance statistics and measurement report dataanalysis for network optimization, there is extremely important role to study.My colleagues and I develop signaling network optimization system base on theSignaling Monitoring.Through signaling acquisition and data sharing to simulation,analysis and evaluate the network quality, design coverage assessment, the dropped callanalysis, handover,wireless quality analysis and delay evaluation five parts.Selection ofChengdu network quality end-to-end integrated analysis and verification.According to the system, the weak coverage assessment, combinate paging blackhole area distribution from A interface and low level ratio area from ABIS interface,itfind30overlapping regions in Chengdu for suspected weak coverage areas.In order toverify the analysis accuracy, through on-site wireless environment test and actual test,confirm28weak coverage areas, this rule analysis accuracy rate is93.3%.In the accessdelay evaluation, statistical Chengdu network average connection delay is about7.8seconds, but Huawei Switching equipment is longer1.3seconds than NSN Switchingequipment.Through each stage delay call contrast, found the differences are mainlyHuawei exchange in IP bearer setup time is longer, enhance the customer perception Huawei through soft parameter settings correction switch processing mechanism, savingtime600ms.In maintain of assessment, to high drop area and ping-pong handover cellsearch system, and through the associated cover, level, quality, TA and so on frommeasurement report, found that the weak and poor quality is to cover up the relevantcell high frequency high off the main factors.In the network quality evaluation ofnetwork, high quality and high interference cell positioning and preliminary reasonanalysis, through feedback verification, hardware test on the problem to verify, throughfield frequency sweeping interference verification, through turning frequency, removingillegal repeater jamming methods optimization of poor quality, and interference, it hasremarkable effect.Based on signaling monitoring network evaluation, from the network coverage,access, maintenance, quality and other aspects assessment, aiming at the problems,giving the optimization scheme, by adjusting the parameters, dilatancy, points, such asestablishment of means to optimize the quality of the network.The work is not onlyhelpful to consolidate the GSM network quality of the leading edge, but also will beuseful ideas, experience to introducing the mode of3G and TD-LTE network, plays animportant role in the signaling monitoring, thought permeates in every cell in thenetwork, network maintenance and optimization of each step, so that the signalingmonitoring not only become one way of a new network optimization, but also become astrong supporting force for the network development and planning.
