In recent years, with the rapid development of Internet of things technique, related research of middleware in the Internet of things is gradually developing and deepening, its application is increasingly wide and has obtained many achievements. Middleware in large-scale application of Internet of things become more and more important. Currently, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technique in the application of Internet of things is relatively broad, and the technical maturity is higher. Related research work on RFID middleware has great realistic significance.RFID middleware can not only shield heterogeneity of various RFID hardware devices, but also deal the raw data with complex event processing, as well as implement the management of RFID hardware system. It plays a great role in promoting the popularization of the application of RFID technique. The thesis studies the RFID middleware largely based on the Open Service Gateway initiative (OSGi) architecture, which inherits the advantages of dynamic and expansible nature in the OSGi, and can adapt to the changing application needs. Using the open-source Rifidi middleware platform, further design and improvement can be actualized on the basis of its existing architecture platform, achieving fast development and application. In addition, the RFID middleware also has the capability of processing complex events. It adopts the finite automata model to analyze complex business logic, and introduces F.sper technique to implementation, which can meet the requirements of application system for complex event processing capabilities.In the thesis, the design of RFID middleware system architecture mainly consists of three layers:read-write device abstract layer, event processing layer and application integrated layer. Read-write device abstract layer shields the heterogeneity of different types of read-write device equipment in adapter pattern, and transmits the data collected in a unified standard format to the upper layer. Hvent processing layer is the core of the middleware, using the complex event processing technique to deal the original label with cleaning, sorting and event detecting. This layer also introduces Ksper technique to the implementation of functions of complex event processing, which effectively improves the complex event processing capability of the middleware. Application integrated layer can integrate those existing application systems, making complex events obtained from the event processing layer better service for the enterprise application system. Last, the thesis puts forward an RFID middleware application case in port distribution center. In this case, the RFID middleware system is implemented according to the design of architecture and combined with concrete application. It verifies the main functions and important role of the middleware system by implementing simulation and analyzing results of it.Most of the RFID middleware products on the market are very expensive and poor universality. The RFID middleware designed in the thesis adopts open-source and free techniques, which can realize rich functions and has the capability of processing complex events. Moreover, this middleware with good flexibility and expansibility can well meet the demand of practical application, which has a broad application prospect.
