With the development of science and technology, the object identification has become much more fields of growing demand, and networking is able to meet the needs of technology. The key module of networking technology has two:radio frequency identification (RFID) and wireless sensor network (WSN), the RFID technology is mainly used for marking and identification of the object. At present, the RFID application in different fields has been a successful application, such as transportation, logistics, manufacturing, retail, etc. But for enterprise, how to RFID application integration into their business systems, and reduce the future maintenance hardware shackles, it is very important. Therefore RFID middleware becomes indispensable constituent part of the RFID application. RFID middleware provides a set of API, shielding the bottom hardware details, and for the upper operation system provides interface, so it becomes the bridge between them.At present EPC Global has established many RFID middleware specifications. It makes lots of standard for label code, data transmission, filter, etc. but these rules just based on the data layer, because of RFID technology special, so it determines its data is much and individual.This paper based on this background, will be specially used for processing mass data real-time Complex Event Processing (Complex Event Processing) into the design of RFID middleware, and it is one of the key points of research.The paper firstly introduces the background of the topic and solution; And then it introduces the RFID middleware and the characteristics of the different periods of the development, Analysing the product market at the same time. It points out the deficiency of event handler; Then introduces the complex event processing technology, it introduces the concept,characteristic, and source event processing engine-Esper.Designing for the structure of RFID middleware hierarchical, and specificating function of the event handling between all levels, designing for the complex event processing model, Proved that the different effect made by model in the equipment access layer, application layer and communication layer the on the event object generation, collection and event detection, and in the actual application will open source event processing engine Esper into among them, the detail the use of engine event processing language, and design the system structure.For complex event processing model design, This paper treats the original event object, event filter and the needs of the user rules comprehensive, also comprehensive treat database and communication module design, It has certain reference significance for the practical application system at the same time.
