In processing and manufacturing enterprises, efficient production management is important guarantee of improving production efficiency. Traditional manual managem-ent not only slow, but also data hierarchy is not clear. And the information will become blurred and unrecognized as time going on, which restricts the production efficiency. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a wireless communication technology. Hav-ing the recognition advantages of non-contact, high speed, security, stability, and so on. It is widely used in automation, transportation, warehouse management and other indu-stry s.In this thesis, information collection and information management in intelligent production management system are designed based on RFID technology. The system doesn’t need a lot of wiring, can save data for long-term. In addition, it has higher real-time, low power, less cost and easy to operate. It is conducive to companies save resources and improve the management level. The main work includes:(1) The implementations of information collection and information management are designed. The13.56MHz RFID reader/writer module is used to gather information as a hardware device. The C programming language is used to design information ac-quisition and control procedures in Keil uVision4environment. Access database and SQL are used to design information management software in the Visual Basic6.0environment.(2) The coding of information collection is esigned. Hexadecimal coding of5bytes length is designed for employee’s number, attendance status step, product proce-ssing status and other informations, as the control object in the information collection.(3) The information acquisition and control program is designed. They are succe-ssfully designed that Button control, employee cards and product labels initialization, information collection, update, sent, error prompt and other control program. Moreover, the entire control program is debugged and verifycated.(4) The information management software is designed. The information manage-ment software consist of information collection, user login and information manage-ment three interfaces is designed and realized, which contains data reception, data management, data retention, user management, staff information input, serial port set-tings and other functions.After debugging and modifiing repeatedly, the system achieves the original design goals and realizes the functional requirements of intelligent production management system.
