Design And Implementation Of Project Management System For Shanghai Post And Telecommunication Institute

With the fast development of Shanghai Post and Telecommunication Institute and the higher requirement for management, we really need to establish an efficient, easy-maintained management information system, using project management as its core and providing advanced informationalized supportive means for the company’s overall business. The system will make the business management efficiently finished according to the planned target, budget, project quality and progress status, and improve the company’s competition strength and profit ability.This thesis discusses the software development of the project management system for Shanghai Post and Telecommunication Institute based on the above background. The contents cover the system’s analysis, design, implementation and testing, etc. In chapter1, it introduces the related project management theory, methods and main information technology. In chapter2, it discusses the system’s function demands, especially builds a few transaction functions’detail processing requirement and user cases. In chapter3, it discusses the system design from the software’s brief design, main flows and database scenario. In chapter4, it discusses the main modules’programming and testing, and gives summarization to the whole article.This software is programmed by Windows/.NET development tools. The overall structure uses Web server and backstage database, the database uses SQL Server and SQL language to develop the programs pre-stored in the database server. The test running until now shows that the system is stable and reliable, and reaches the development goal.
