With the development of modern industry, the demand for gas in modern industry is increasing greatly, and gas data acquisition technology has received much attention. Traditional ways of gas data collection mainly rely on manual inspection, however, this way is far from meeting demands. In this research, based on the features of GPRS wireless transmission, we design a gas data acquisition management system. A central server, which is set in the.NET framework, is responsible for receiving and processing the client data. It is successful in acquiring the real-time remote data through the combination of GPRS and Internet technology.The system is an upgrade of the gas management system of the Dalian Detai Ganghua gas co., LTD. The original system mainly consists of two parts:the lower computer and the host computer. The lower computer in the system is responsible for the collection of a series of data flow, including pressure, temperature, and battery life, etc. when the upper computer is mainly responsible for on-site monitoring and real-time displaying. So far, the number of lower computer sites has reached as many as90. Due to the increasing sites, more and more problems emerge, i.e. the single-thread communication mode used in the system causes serious data blocking for the poor transmission performance; KingView and VB were jointly used to develop the system, which made the interface perform pool to display the data real-timely, and the development costs relatively expensive. In addition, it is very complex to add or delete a lower computer site, the system has to be shut down to modify the database correspondingly, The biggest problem is that the data information can not be updated in real time when the system blocks.In this study, The Gas Data Remote management system, which is based on the.NET Framework, uses Visual Studio2010, greatly improves the data update rate. Using a multi-thread communication mode, with the thread calling thread pool technology, it improves the moment parallel processing capabilities and enhances the load capacity of the system greatly. When developing the system, to avoid the problem of resource preemption and improve the efficiency of the receiving terminal, the receiving terminals is designed separating from the displaying terminals. Therefor, site maintenance becomes more flexible, and sites could be add and delete dynamically. The secondary development of the system makes the system more operable and compatible. The display interface of the host computer in the system has been simplified, and enhanced with alarm design. The data curve display page, alarm page, regularly report generation page and other related pages have also been improved. The system load ability has been enhanced, which make the system modifications and maintenance more convenient, and the online publishing of data real-timely.
