Development Of Long-Distance Monitoring Terminal's Comprehensive Examination Instrument

According to the national environmental protection bureau, at present nation's major and medium cities have basically completed their enterprises' automatic environmental monitoring network information platform construction. Pollution long-distance monitoring terminals (terminals for short) are equiped in each system, which undertake gathering, processing and the communication transmission of all kinds of online data(including standard analog signal, switching signal) from pollution processing measuring appliance at pollution source. Terminal is essential part of the whole monitoring system. Therefore, testing and examining the function and precision of the monitoring terminal appears especially important. However, the quality examination personnel from the environmental protection department have no convenient tools to carry on the comprehensive examination and testing. The traditional methods they use are too old to get terminals checked scientifically and effectively.On this background, consigned by Nanjing environment supervision centre, Automatic control department take on the development of the universal intelligent instrument which is used for terminal's function and precision comprehensive examination.Using 32-bit MCU as the core of system, with advanced testing technology and network communication technology, the development of the sample instrument has been completed. The sample system already has ability to carry on comprehensive examination and testing for terminals. This paper gives a detailed description on the whole system design, including scheme argumentation and selection, hardware design, bottom software design, special communication software development ,operation platform software development and debugging methods . The whole process of development has been discussed in detail in this paper.
