Long Distance Data Transfer And Management System Based On ASP.NET

With the modernization of production, real-time monitoring in production is in high demand. Traditional cable transmission can not fit well for distributed remote sites. The application of GPRS/CDMA provides with good solution to long distance data monitoring. While data transferring based on GPRS is still at the stage of development.The system took the Gas Flow Monitoring System which had already been put into practice in Dalian Developing Zone Gas Company for reference. Until now, there is 47 sites available in the system Collecting and monitoring flow, temperature, pressure of the sites. With the deepening of practice, there comes out to be many problems. It is troublesome a work to add or delete a site from the system; No way for real time data distribution. Because that the system was developed with VB combining with KingView, There is low real-time performance and high expense.Response to these problems, the system is redesigned and developed. Long Distance Data Transferring System Based on ASP.NET is developed with VisualStudio2005. Web-based platform allows real-time data distribution to be achieved. Multi-Thread communication mode enables the system stronger load capacity and parallel process instantaneously. Station Management module provides with higher efficiency for station management which realized dynamic adding or deleting sites. Visual Studio platform enables the provision of comprehensive database connectivity which simplified storing process. The system is equipped with different decoding protocols to decode data package according to package format. The modular structure of the program enables a clear logic for develop and maintenance.The system also provides with data chart, figured-time reports, alarm information and station time delay functions. Long Distance Data Transferring System Based on ASP.NET has good compatibility, good load capacity. It's also easy to modify and maintain.
