China is often described by some western media as corruption, lack of democracy, violate human rights, threaten its neighbors and so on,"China Threat Theory" is more varieties, such as "the’Chinese food threat theory’,’Chinese environmental threat theory’,’China responsibility theory’" and so on, distort the image of China seriously, go against to the exchanges and cooperation between China and the international. This cooperation in The Global Village Era is very important, shaping a positive national image is imperative.There are many ways of shaping the national image, this paper mainly from three aspects, the first is the enhancement of comprehensive national strength, the second is emerging successful leader’s image, and the last is use media appropriately. With the development of the science technology and the communication technology, the mass media not only a source of information and important participant of international affairs, but also a powerful weapon to the governments of shaping the image of the nation. National leaders as a representative and spokesman for the state, the individual quality of national image should not be underestimated; premier of the State Council is the representative of China’s top leadership group, so the image of the prime minister is an important carrier of national image. The annual NPC and CPPCC press conference is the public opinion platform to interaction between the prime minister and the media, the authoritative media reporters gathered, and carry on face-to-face communication with Prime Minister. NPC and CPPCC press conference started live television since1989, beginning gradually institutionalized in1993.
