With the development of mobile e-commerce, mobile payment came into being, changing people’s lifestyles. Because of its convenience mobile payment has been gradually accepted by consumers, especially by young people using smartphones. However, the speed of mobile payment development is slow. In addition to the undetermined mode of development of the industry and faulty mobile payment environment, there is an important factor called user experience. In order to effectively promote the development of the mobile payment industry, the only way is catching the real needs of terminal consumers from the very beginning. Continue to strengthen the innovation and improve the user experience, so that consumers feel pleasure and value of mobile payments.Firstly, the motivation and behavior of the mobile payment users are analyzed by network questionnaire. Then through observation, interviews and other methods, consumers’demand, experience and problems in traditional payment scenarios and mobile payment scenarios are deeply analyzed. Based on the above analysis, the article extracts the design rules affecting the user experience in the mobile payment process, which has a guiding significance for the future mobile payment innovation. Finally, according to the design rules of user experience of mobile payment, the author designs a mobile payment applications used by customers shopping in mall.
