Research On Improving Context-Awareness Of CAUX

With the development of mobile Internet,the using of information communication products has gradually penetrated into all aspects of users'lives and work,and the use scenarios have become more and more complex and varied.In the field of mobile application research,researchers have found that the laboratory-based User Experience(UX)methods have problems with high cause user interference,unreal usage scenarios.At the same time,the field test methods are not suitable for long-term user research,and both methods have the problem of high research cost.To solve the above problems,our team designed and developed a remote data collection tool(CAUX)with context awareness,but the tool can only perceive the Low-Level context where the user is located,and can't perceive the user's High-Level context like the UX researchers.Therefore,increasing the context-awareness of CAUX has become the research goal of this paper.Through the study of the context,the author proposes to represent some High-Level context by a combination of multiple Low-Level context.The main research work is divided into three parts:Research on reasoning methods of High-Level context:The author studies the composition of the context and expresses the High-Level context with a combination of Low-Level context.Taking the idle state(High-Level context)as the research object,the mapping relationship between multiple Low-Level contexts and High-Level context is summarized,which provides theoretical support for improving the context-awareness of tools.Implementing the High-Level context-awareness of the tool:The author extended the CAUX's instruction grammar according to the mapping relationship between the Low-Level context and the High-Level context,and improved the CAUX's instruction parsing module and the context monitoring module,so that the tool has a preliminary High-Level context-awareness.Validate and evaluate the High-Level context-awareness of the tool:Validate the High-Level context-awareness of the improved tool and evaluate the UX researchers'satisfaction and the effectiveness of the tool' s High-Level context-awareness based on usability criteria.The research results show that the improved data collection tools have preliminary High-Level context-awareness.The improved instruction grammar is accepted by the researchers,and the collected data is more in line with the researchers' expectations.
