In recent years, the development of wireless network technologies and mobile devices provides a favorable external environment for context aware computing. context awareness become one of the 2011 top ten strategic technologies. Shopping is gradually becoming an interactive experience as an essential part of life.This thesis designed a shopping assistant system based on context-aware technology, the target users of the system are young users, and they like to share with friends. The system can get context factors in the perception of shopping activities, so that the mobile device become a virtual partner to provide consumers with personalized information such as "what to buy?", "which to buy?", "Share to whom?". The prototype system support consumers shopping with the shopping list. It can give specific information according to the commodity situation, recommended the user might like goods based on user scenario It also can recommend to users of the goods may be shared objects according to the commodity situation, user scenarios and the social relations.We use user-centered design methods. The study work is divided in to user needs study, solution design and evaluation, system development three parts. We explore the shopping situational factors in the supermarket and how it affects consumer behavior in the user research phase. We selected seven categories of contextual factors to establish a context-aware model. We tap the potential needs of the user by the user in-depth interviews, combined with observations of reality. We create three stories based on context-aware technology and do task analysis to establish the main functions of the mobile shopping assistant. After that we invite users to confirm the concept with a paper-prototype. We use the Axure PR6.0 production a system prototype 1.0, after a prototype heuristic evaluation we found 14 usability problems and get the prototype 2.0.In the implementation phase, we choose the Android platform and use the Java language for system implementation.This study explores the contextual factors and classification involved in the shopping, designs a mobile shopping assistant system to enhance the consumer shopping experience.
