With the growing demand of data rate, LTE (Long Term Evolution) comes after the third generation mobile communication system. Since the introduction of OFDMA and multi-antenna technologies, the uplink and downlink peak rate could reach50Mbit/s and100Mbit/s. Furthermore, LTE can provide users with lower transmission delay and higher data rate.Interference is one of the key factors affecting the performance of wireless communication system. In LTE system, due to OFDMA technology, intra-cell interference can be almost ignored, so inter-cell interference becomes the main source of interference. Consequently, more and more researchers are working on ICIC (Inter-Cell Interference Coordination) now. This article mainly discusses ICIC technology of TD-LTE system. I have consulted many latest relevant papers and summarized a detailed analysis of their innovation and inadequacies, and then I proposed a semi-static uplink ICIC algorithm based on System load. First, chapter2gives a brief introduction of RRM (Radio Resource Management). Then, chapter3describes static ICIC algorithms including soft frequency reuse and fractional frequency reuse, and simulates the algorithms through TD-LTE system level simulation platform. Chapter4is the focus of this paper, which proposes a semi-static uplink ICIC algorithm based on system load. Under medium and low load, the approach adopts a priority-based resource allocation method; under high load, the approach uses intra-frame frequency hopping. In addition, chapter4also gives an explicit description of the algorithm including resource priority setting, edge user criteria, intra-frame frequency hopping scheme and load information processing. Chapter5simulates the proposed algorithm, and the results show that this algorithm is effective in TD-LTE system. Finally, Chapter6concludes the paper and proposes further research work.
