| The21st century is an information era of knowledge and economy. Education acts as a vital area in the course of the development of the society, its traditional pattern and approaches can’t meet the requirements of the people in information era. Therefore, educational information is the urgent need of modern education in China. Online teaching platform could realize education information. It could realize the extension from the traditional classroom to the network, the sharing of teaching resources, teaching autonomy, teaching environmental virtualization and multimedia teaching content. Online teaching platform has great significance to education information.Firstly, the history of development of online teaching platform at home and abroad is studied in this paper, and the problem in current online teaching platform is analyzed. The main content of this paper is the design and implement of an online teaching platform on which teachers and students could interactive well.Then, according to the comparison and analysis of Rich Internet Application, Html5and Flex are chose as main technologies of this online teaching platform. In this paper the functions of this platform is designed, including the multimedia function, the main structure and network frame of the platform and the structure of the database.Finally, multimedia RIA network teaching platform is realized in this paper, including the information management module, the online teaching module, the virtual lab module, the interactive Q&A module, the online testing module and message center module. RIA technology is adopted to realize online photo, online drawing, real-time communication, virtual experiment, remote experiment and other multimedia technologies. This platform could improve user interaction and enrich teaching methods. Therefore, it could improve the effectiveness of online teaching. |
