Online education, with the environment of network and cored as network andmultimedia technologies, provides students a network environment for studying and a newmeans to access to knowledge. With the IT and Internet technology maturing, this kind ofeducation, without the time and space constraints, has also been more widely used. ZhejiangProvincial Education Examination Office issued a notice of the student self-study examnetwork platform in Zhejiang Province in May2010, which would begin the trial in thesecond half of2011. However, the majority of online teaching is still based on learningresources centered; learning content is only the copy of the paper materials, which does notplay fully the advantages of network. Meanwhile in online education, the students lackguidance of individual differences. Compared with traditional teaching, students participatingin online learning often have a "sense of loneliness, because they can’t interact with theirpeers and learn from each other, and, so the learning efficiencies low.With the rapid development of Internet technology, to provide students withindividualized teaching is becoming a hot research topic in the online education. Especiallywith the rise and the rapid development of social networking in recent years, socialnetworking in online teaching also gradually attracted scholars interested, we have reason tobelieve that the future of online teaching will be more personalized and social. This paperattempts to create a personalized learning platform model to help guide the students foreffective personalized learning, while trying to create a social network platform to facilitatemutual exchange. In this paper, we try to create an individualized teaching model in the onlineeducation environment mainly through the following points:1) build similar interest groupsbased on the learning style model Honey&Humford, and similar level of knowledge groupsbased on cluster analysis, to classify students into different groups, so that the students won’tfeel lone to improve learning efficiency.2) build a social network services platform, so thatthe students within the same group exchanges, can mutually recommend learning content, toimprove students’ interest and learning efficiency.3) add teachers’ agent recommendsindividual learning content to different groups, because fewer resources can’t guide for allstudents.4) based on CELTS, organize the curriculum knowledge, to facilitate to guide andcontrol students’ learning process, and automatically adjust the level of difficulty of the courseknowledge according to learning.5) Build a personal knowledge of evaluation system, so thatstudents can more clearly understand their own lack and adjust the ownership of similargroups, to learn better.In this paper, we only do a preliminary exploration of the individual network teachingmodel, with the depth of the study we also found some problems that need to be thinking andfollow-up study, these will be given at the end of the paper summary and reflection.
