The rise of the mobile Internet era, highlighting the changes in the environment ofChina’s information dissemination.In this context, the coexistence communion of the newmedia and traditional media put forward a new requirement on how to shape,spread,orthopedic the image of the government. The emergence of a large number of new mediaas the representative of government’s weibo, the chief APP is the use of contingencymeasures adopted by the government in facing the propagation environment changes.This article is based on the angle of the communication, and the case of “the newmedia system” of Suzhou Industrial Park, mainly explore the new opportunities onspreading the image of the government and the measure which the government has made infacing the new broadcasting environment. It’s also try to reveal the linkage between thenew media system of Suzhou Industrial Park(the portal web, weibo, and the chief APP)from three dimensions, which is media discourse contests, the political and cultural identityshaping,and the urban visual mythology. Furthermore, this article also explore how thegovernment consciously construct different image by different media. And the resultingnew problems arised from the procession which governments are not familiar with the useof various types of media.
